【Chemical Name】3-dimethyl-2-acetylquinazine-1,4-dioxide

【Characteristics】A bright-yellow or yellow crystalline powder, odorless and faintly bitter.The color turns gradually deep after meeting light.Soluble in acetone, chloroform and benzene. Slightly insoluble in    water, methanol, ether, ether from petroleum.

【Pharmacological Actions】A antibacterial medicine, The antibacterial mechanism is to prevent the DNA synthesization of bacteria .It can prevent most bacteria especially for Gram-negative and treponema.

【Indications】It is effective against swine dysentery，scours of piglets，diarrhea ,and paratyphus of calf，fowl cholera ，chickling  dysentery，yellow and white scour of piglets, has a special curative effect for pig hemorrhagic dysentery caused by treponema and recurrence rate is low.

【Precautions】when the dosage is over 3 to 5 times of the clinical therapy dose or use for a long time ,it will cause adverse reaction even death.especially sensitive to poultry.

【Additive dosage】The single dosage of oral administration recommended for pig and cow is 5-10mg additives per kg，twice a day，over 3 days. The single dosage of intramuscular injection recommended for pig and cow is 2-5mg additives per kg.

【Storage】Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light with containers tightly closed.
